When should I use ShareSimple?
When you need to request or share personal data such as police records, medical information or identity numbers securely. The system handles consent collection, secure transport, registration of received data and setting retention periods. The recipient receives a one-time passcode, fills in the information, and the data is deleted automatically after a maximum of 32 days.
Who can use ShareSimple?
ShareSimple requires a Microsoft 365 account, but ShareSimple users can share or request documents to and from anyone on any mail server (Gmail, iCloud, Yahoo and so on). Recipients do not need to install ShareSimple themselves.
Can I use ShareSimple with a Gmail account?
Not yet. Look out for updates on our website. In the meantime you can already use your ShareSimple with Outlook to share and request information from others who use Gmail or any other mail server.
How do I get ShareSimple?
Install via Microsoft AppSource through the Outlook app or web app, or visit the website and click "Try ShareSimple" to get it.
How can I invite users?
Invite users individually through the ShareSimple admin centre, or add several at once through the Microsoft 365 admin centre.
What happens when my email is sent?
Your message is sent with a one-time passcode. The recipient can fill in information, attach files, give consent (for a request) or confirm identity with an email or SMS code (for a share) before downloading.
Does ShareSimple work across borders?
ShareSimple crosses borders, allows up to 50 MB and works with any web browser without certificates. Use ShareSimple any time to send and receive data to and from anywhere in the world.
